To be completely honest ... I don't think its got legs.

IMHO the journey, as per Ark, is fun but there's no real destination.

Yes,I know what you mean. Ultimately if there was a goal (apart from not being killed) then it would be great. However are any end games in the games we play? SWOTR, ARK, MC etc all have this issue. You just grind away until you level up.

All I wanted to achieve in SWOTR was to cop off with Mako and once that was done....  :flirty:

I think it's a feature or most survival games that they have a use by date built in. That date is specific to each player though. At some point you succeed to the point where unless you do something dumb survival is guaranteed. Then it sort of morphs into a crafting game. Minecrafts survival aspect was trivial but it's crafting was immense. 7 Days to Die is much more hard core for survival but the crafting seems less interesting IMHO. Very much like Ark the game's legs depend on how much fun it is to explore, gather, craft and build etc.

Personally I'm already done with it, mainly as I'm just not into grinding and crafting, but that's just me. Those who are more 'hammers and nails' will probably get a lot more fun out of 7 Days to Die for a lot longer.

I'm with Chaos.

The crafting aspect is cool as is the building dynamics. taking on a horde on day 7 is good laughs. Wandering into a town in the middle of the night is quite intense as several zd's can appear out of nowhere and overwhelm you. It's a lot less cartoon like that MC too.
