Of course everyone knows Around the world in 80 Days, Pole to Pole etc etc. are some of the finest TV programs created in the last decade and a half. That's a given. But what you might not know is Mr. Palin has a fantatsic web site at Palins Travels.

It's also worth a look as an example of what an excellent interactive community web site should be like. So even if you are dead from the neck up and don't like Michael's TV travelogs you can still marvel at exquisite web design.
