Just seen this yesterday.  It's mostly passive stuff, with very sparse action going on.  I'd guess that the action will occur in the second part.

Might be a good idea to wait it out, and watch both in sequence.

Thank you, I was awaiting someone's post on this as I had a feelingm it might be like this.  I'll probably grab the bluray when it comes out and then finish the collection of films when MJ2 is released.

This is my plan. It tends to appear on Google Play Movies fairly quickly and both the first two movies are on Netflix,, so no marathon waits.
