Treated myself to some new pedals, Fanatec Clubsport v2.

I have to say I'm liking them (so far), especially the load cell brake. When I first tried, I thought OMG it's going to take ages to get used to these, but within a couple of races I was already getting used to them.

There is definitely I think, more fine control over the brakes, though when I do lock up, it seems to take me a little longer to unlock.
Not much to report on the throttle, nice and smooth, decent but not excessive travel.

The Clutch is the only pedal I'm not completely happy with, there is a cam which gives a more defined feeling of a clutch engaging, I'm almost used to this, but still fluff the occasional gear shift, I may shorten the throw slightly, and change engagement / diss-engagement point in controller settings. Also, though the pedals are less than a week old, I'm getting a squeak from the clutch pedal, guess I'll have to lubricate, (the bushes should be self lubricating, so !!)

Anyway, I hope this is usefull for anyone thinking of treating themselves, loved ones etc. for Christmas.

Cheers Deetz, I'm always interested to see/hear what racer's new sim hardware is like.  They look pretty sturdy and easy to maintain, no having to take out 100 screws to do some cleaning like with the G27/5!

Very nice setup btw!

Thanks Seany, it was chatting to you on Monday that made me decide to make this post.

A couple of other points I missed.

1) Unless you sitting right on top of the pedals, they need to be tilted up at the back (mine are currently raised 30mm at the back, and I may increase this slightly) so you are not contorting your ankles to excessive angles when operating the pedals.
2) Even on the lightest force setting for the brake, you need to use more force to operate it than with potentiometer pedal, so the pedal set needs to be mounted, or otherwise stopped from moving so they don't wander about in use.
