Don't be put off lads, Gunda is talking a lot of sense here.
If it would help, I can get a comp channel in TS for you to use. (I know all-talk/ dead-talk is on, but it may be useful in the lobby etc)

(I would've joined but my game crashes to desktop with a sound-loop that requires a re-boot every hour or so)

Playing with Gunda was great in the sense that he had a lot of useful knowledge to pass on but the jump in level personally was too great to either improve or enjoy it as i'd be dead pretty quickly every round.

strange thing is the matching system should take into account the total number of elo points we had as a group of 5 people so there is no way it should have put us up against 2 DMG and 3 MGE's

The rounds we did win though would have done given some nice +points to you guys

to be honest i probably need to be de-ranked. When i was unranked, i won some games 16-0 but it was not due to me.

Also i think i have only played like 15-20 comp games so far, and according to an acticle i read the ranking is not accurate until you have played about 500!!! matches..

Getting mvp for a round helps hugely
when trying to rank up apparently. Also remember that it is round wins that count, so winning 16-14 is definitely not as good for ranking up as winning 16-0.

Thx for the info:)I looked into it as well, my biggest problem I was playing competitive mode when I started and I lost a lot so it's gonna take a long time for me to rank up,but I don't really care:)most important thing is to have fun!
