Thanks Tuna. I put up the terminal and set up two gates. Passengers will go to LFHY for now.

I´m on a roll here. I really want to build one more before we start lot 2 on LFQF.

What about LFCU? Asphalt, 2 lots and will kind of make a triangle with LFHY and LFCM.
Materials available at LFLC, where we built LFHY from.

If it is a "GO", I don´t mind doing most of it myself as I know some are going to the LAN.

This will give us much more interesting routes to fly, and the possibility to make profitable round trips.

Sparko

yeah go for it Vobler :) its the only way to get our group known in the area really, as long as we can stay on top of he supplies demand.

I wont be a round much for the next few weeks as im at the LAN and then next week im away in Yorkshire for the week but after that i should be able to spend more time on this again :thumb:

I also want to keep an eye on possible gates to rent in the UK too.  I will probably do a few flights whilst at the LAN anyway and i would think Sulky might too.

Thanks. Will do. I might need a few days extension on that loan though. ;-)

First lot up and running with fuel and passenger terminal.
Big thank to Jarlev that did a couple of flight in a rented DC-3.

Now it is time to do some flying and build the money reserves to be able to build the free lots on LFQF and LFCU ASAP.

So if someone are flying just for the money (privately), please take all our passengers first. This way we earn some in fees, and fuel sales.
One dMw round trip in a big enough plane will net you almost 30000 if terminals are full. There is our B200 and PC-12 at LFHY. There is also a rentable DC-3 at LFCU now. The group also has a TBM850 and a Beech Duke B60. Go in and fly!

BTW,
Last month our LFHY had 95 operations. That is almost enough to make it in the FSE Reporter!

I was talking to Tuna on TS a bit yesterday and I think he is right in that we maybe should just finish building the FBO's we have now before getting more.

So what I will do tonight is to buy 24000kg of building materials at LFLC. (This is enough for two lots and terminals.)
This (12000kg each) is to be moved to both LFCU and LFQF to finish off the second lots there. I will start with the DC-3 at LFCU. The distance to LFQF is a bit longer at 85nm, but due to the discount we get by buying so much in one place, we got to do it like this.
I will also buy some supplies to be taken to LFQF and LFSW. Maybe 500kg to each place for now.
I will crate everything in 200kg crates and assign them to the Dead Men Walking group.

As the FBO terminals are set up now they create jobs to the next FBO north or south. LFHY for example creates jobs to LFQF and LFCU. The "end" FBO's LFCM and LFSW creates jobs to one neighbor only.
So currently the network is set up to be flown north to south or south to north. I asked Tuna if he wants longer flights too since there are  guys with Citations and the like here. My suggestion currently is to let LFCM and LFSW create jobs to each other too. That will make a few longer flights, even if they where not enough to fill a plane.

We need to find a setup that make us want to fly it. The current setup makes the most money per passenger.
Comments please?

Edit: Another very nice system is to set up LFHY as a hub, and point all others towards that FBO. That will give lots og jobs there, both long and short. Probably the best option now.

Thanks for your work vobler, I'm currently on holiday this week in the Yorkshire dales and have very limited network so can't get on .

I'll catch up with you and help out when I get back

I'm sure we will find something to do for you! I just built up the second lot and repair shop at LFCU today. Will try to do LFQF too this week.

vobler

I did the second lot at LFQF today. There are still more stuff at LFLC to move. Materials for the repairshop and a crate of supplies for LFSW. We also need to buy and take out more supplies to LFQF and maybe a couple of the other fbo´s are low too now.

edit,
Starting to love the DC-3 now. I'm using the JustFlight version.:D
There is a candidate for a group plane....

Sparko

have taken 1000kg of supplies to LFCM and we are ok for 36 days there now.  Will transfer some to LFQF when i get time too, then the all the others just need topping up.

vobler

I saw that yesterday. I even went in to check the logs to find out who did it.:)

We need to figure out a system for supplies. If we could make some kind of warehouse at LFHY, we could make jobs there to take 100kg out to the other FBO's now or then. During our normal flights.
The network now is set up to be flown from LFHY - north to LFSW and back, then south to LFCM and back. I find this the most efficient way.

Don't worry Sparko, if you don't have the time. I will top up all tonight. Will try to give them 30 days.

Love that JustFlight DC-3. Will probably be able to take all of the supplies 3000+kg AND pick up all the passengers along the route too.
Will go LFLC-LFSW-LFQF-LFHY-LFCU.

Edit:

All done. 32 days.
