A rough guide on how much damage people should or could be doing / ilvl

So how are you doing in comparison ?

Have a look in the logs

If so please look into what can be improved. If you cant see where improvements can be made please ask.

With the way flex scales we don't want to be put in the situation of benching people if we start hitting enrage problems.

As 666 should be nearer the average in the raid by now! The one linked by jas is for i630.

We don't have any DPS in the raid getting near those i666 figures so a lot of improvement is needed.

....and are my eyes deceiving me, but isn't that the simplest rotation I have seen since TBC?

I still think feral druid has the worst rotation. It's so much easier with my dk and 2h frost. Just 1 button all day long, without macros.

Its horrible to play, its ok though both other hunters in my raid are BM and im beating them by at least 10/15% on every encounter as survival

The Noxxic graphs are built using simulations that have been made to be as realistic as they can. I've just spent a while going through worldoflogs and the simulations appear to be on the low side for Gruul as players are exceeding those numbers by quite a bit. Yeah ive read up on both from noxxic and WoL and both say that it's very dependent due to many factors. Its abit silly imo the OP. Every fight is different so you cant really expect that dps on every fight. So world of logs is prob best to compare from and as Jas says...ask questions or do some research.

Its a bugger, you may miss a pot because of an early pull, 1 miss click and a rotation is fubared etc etc.

Guess people still wont be reading the forum....we have 5 people commenting on this thread that dont raid with DMR

That's crap to assume switch. I always read the forums, even though I hardly ever comment. But I have sought class-specific advice on icy-veins forum, and upped my dps without flask and pots, to closely what my character is simmed to. Which is 27k, and not the 32k rated by noxxic.

TLDR

Most players do not maximise their DPS based on their gear for any fight. If you want more progress, you need to close the gap between what you do and the bes that is possible.

From personal experience, the best that is possible is something few players approach with regularity - and that's the difference between raiding top level instances and not.

Not really Demi ^^ it was joked about alot over TS that people werent using the forums...

I think it would just be nice and show a bit of respect to the guys who are taking the time to research and post up these threads, just to acknowledge that they have been read by everyone who is raiding. I merely pointed out that the stuff from noxxic was a sim and combining that with WoL is prob the best way to see the dps output on the fights and meant no disrespect by it and just pointed out that it is very fight dependent.

If you want to progress everyone has to muck in. If there is a dps issue across the board then all should be on here reading up and asking and even just posting a couple words saying read/ understood etc.

As TL says its not really about the gear, it is about the player upping their game and keeping it there for every raid. I can hold my hand up and easily say i wasnt the best, no where near! Im crap at moving. Done. My concentration lvl's are all over the place 1 fight i will be top on dps and moving well the next i will be the 1st dead. Its prob best Im not raiding as i know im not cut out for end game content. I was, a few years back but my interest has waned with WoW and i think that had an issue on my gaming prowess so to speak.
