New Combat zone event

Senator Patreus has today begun the process of sending his agents to reclaim the debt owed to him by the government of Kui Hsien.

The Friends of Kui Hsien, the cooperative council that rules over the region, had previously entered into an agreement with Senator Patreus to supply Kui Hsien with the arms they needed to repel an invasion by the Federal-aligned Future of LTT 911 Party. Kui Hsien’s economy was devastated during the war with LTT 911, and the Friends now find themselves in the unenviable position of being unable to repay their debt.

Over the last week, dozens of local traders have gone to extraordinary efforts to stimulate Kui Hsien’s economy. Sadly their efforts were not enough, as the Friends of Kui Hsien still find themselves unable to meet the financial demands placed on them by Senator Patreus and Eotienses Silver Universal PLC.

As a result, Senator Patreus has authorised the Conservatives of BV Phoenicis to begin the forfeiture process. Imperial mercenaries interested in participating in the reclamation effort are being invited to sign up for active duty aboard Aoki Dock in BV Phoenicis.

Waging War

Description:
Acting under orders of Senator Denton Patreus, in association with Silver Natural PLC, the Conservatives of BV Phoenicis are in the process of launching an assault on Saavedra Dock in order to reclaim assets currently illegally held by residents of Kui Hsien.

As Senator Patreus has authorised the use of full military force to recoup losses incurred on debts owed to the Senator by the Friends of Kui Hsien, the Conservatives of BV Phoenicis are offering a range of generous payments to all mercenaries willing to fight for his cause. This includes the opportunity for pilots to earn a significant set of bonuses for hitting their targets.

There is a SEEKING WEAPONS event in the same system .76ls outside the station, fetch BATTLE WEAPONS for many creds!
There are several orbital platforms and stating 25- 35 LY out of war zone, but their supply is dwindling fast, so best to do a uptodate check before you jump out. Also large ships can not dock with orbital platforms (Pythons FTW)

If you get your FrameShift drive upgraded to allow jumps of 19Lyr, you could make it in 6 or 7, but until you've got the funds for a Viper or Cobra, I would not advise engaging in combat missions until you've got spare cash on hand. Don't risk what you cannot afford to lose! Always fly insured and never sell your shields to make room for something else.

No problem, I have a Viper and about 1.1 million credits... it will mostly depend on how intense the warzones are... I've been dabbling in them around Duamta, and provided I am sensible in picking my targets away from the bulk of the combat, I am ok against cobras and other vipers. I'll leave the anacondas to you big guns

Flew down during my lunch break (benefits of being able to work from home sometimes) and claimed a few scalps as a warm-up... but yeah i need to remember to check if the targets are 'winged up' as they seem to be scripted to ignore NPCs and focus fire on a player the moment you attack

I agree Albert, we all were there last night and only managed about 1.8 million creds in about 4 hours..

We were killing every anaconda that appeared and only got 18k(shared between 2) for a kill...either out kill scores are well out or they are doing something naughty!

THE ART OF WAR

Description:
Over the years Senator Patreus has amassed an impressive collection of private military industrial companies and corporations. As a result the Senator's interests are spread across the length and breadth of the Empire, positioning Patreus as one of the premier suppliers of Imperial Armaments in the entire galaxy.

Traditionally Eotienses has been left untouched by the Senator's business, but now the time has finally come for an upgrade. Senator Patreus has pledged to spend billions of credits in rejuvenating Eotienses's economy over the next month, with the ultimate aim being to turn Eotienses in to a high tech hub that will be the envy of the entire Empire.

In order to help facilitate the rejuvenation effort, Senator Patreus has placed a series of order which require several millions units of Industrial Materials be brought to his agents on Parkinson Dock. All citizens that take part in the rejuvenation programme will be well rewarded for their efforts.

The closest ports are IN SYSTEMand there are several; I am using Delporte Dock (orbital) as it has 14k of supply, and i`m not really making a huge dent in to it.
Sadley there is no return items other than bio waste, and the supply of conductors is small at those docks :thumbsdown:

Merchant Marines Launch Operation Papercut
Reports coming in from Eotienses indicate that a group of Federal Commanders, known as the Merchant Marines, are currently engaged in a series of unauthorised attacks against Imperial traders in the employ of Senator Patreus.

In a statement released to GalNet, the Merchant Marines had this to say:

“The Merchant Marines have launched Operation Papercut. We plan to blockade the Eotienses system in an attempt to stop Imperial traders from supplying Parkinson Dock with industrial materials. The group fears that High Tech production could turn Eotienses into a catalyser for the Imperial war machine already fuelled by Denton Patreus.”

“The Marines intend to interdict all traders in the system and thus halt economic growth. Traders will be given a single warning to leave the system. Any further action will result in more aggressive coercion.”

GalNet reached out to President Halsey’s office to request an official statement in regards to the Merchant Marines' actions. At time of press, the President’s office had not yet chosen to reply.

IMPERIAL INVESTIGATION: OPERATION HR 706


Description:
The ongoing investigation into the attack on Emperor Hengist uncovered a trail that led to a bank account, set up under a false identity, by someone operating out of HR 706. The account wasn't set up by some amateur thug. They left no clue behind as to their true identity.

This could have caused a serious problem for the Princess's agents. However, in conjunction with other evidence, the investigative taskforce believe that the account's activity shows that an organisation directly serving the would-be killer conspirator(s) may well call this system their home.

Someone out there has the answers Princess Arissa needs. As such, the order has been given to forcibly shut down all criminal organisations operating in this sector. If the local scumbags want it to stop, they know what they have to do.

Emperor's Grace has reluctantly agreed to play host to the task force, who have established a temporary base of operation aboard Laming Orbital. Citizens involved in the ongoing hunt for justice should submit their Imperial Bounty Vouchers for processing there.
