Hi All,

I know we are barely an 8 man Warframe Community but I thought I would share a rather enjoyable experience that can now be found in game.

The 8 Man Raid takes the form of 3 stages with different strategies to completing each stage and a finale culminating in a boss battle.

New Mission: The Law of Retribution
Tenno are out for vengeance, and Grineer Councilor Vay Hek has nowhere left to hide.  Hot on his trail after the assault on Relays during Eyes of Blight, the Lotus will guide a precision strike force to hunt down and put an end to Vay Hek once and for all.  Be wary Tenno.  Numbers alone will not protect you when diving into the heart of Grineer military power.

  • Create a squad of 4 to 8 Tenno and work through three challenge scenarios as you track down Vay Hek across the Solar System.
  • Earn Arcane enhancements from defeating Vay Hek, each of which provide a unique bonus Warframes can unleash during combat.
    • In order to equip an Arcane enhancement players must construct it in their Foundry under the Miscellaneous tab.
    • Players will then need to select what Helmet or Syandana they would like the Arcane to be attached to.
    • After construction the Arcane Helmet or Arcane Syandana will appear in their Arsenal under Attachments.

  • The Law of Retribution Key Blueprint is available for purchase in the marketplace for 100,000 Credits.
  • This Mission can be completed with a minimum of 4 Tenno for an additional challenge.  Enemies will not scale down in difficulty with fewer players present in the Mission.

It has several rather nice drops and rewards throughout the stages and the end reward is something called an arcane enhancement. If any of you remember the original Warframe Helmets that gave a player a certain skill buff with a defuff in another area. They we retired from the game but those still in possession of one found it became named "Arcane Helmets"

So after completing this with a team of 8 we got Arcane Trickery which allows a helmet or a syndana to be buffed to have a chance to make the wearer invisible. Imagine making Rhino invisible for 30 seconds at a time when this is maxed out.. then the stealth dps buff you get from invisibility! The only thing is to fuse up the levels of these arcane objects you create requires the raid to be successfully run and the same arcane part to be dropped! So it's a real grind with really epic rewards in the end.

Stage 1 - Blow up 4 injectors -> Carry a bomb that is dispensed at a central point in the map after hacking 2 terminals. Carrying the bomb depletes the carriers energy supply.
-> Whilst the bomb is being collected, half the team run to the first injector leaving a waypoint for the other half to follow with the bomb. There they hack 3 terminals.
-> As the 3rd terminal is hacked the bomb arrives and is dropped near the injector. Do this 4 times with 2 Nova with Primed Flow, 1 Loki for terminal hacking, 1 Trinity for EV and Blessing, 1 Frost for defence. 2 Vauban for later in the raid and 1 others. The aim is be durable, have high shields, max energy, be able to slow down the enemy because they reach lvl 90+.

Stage 2 - Enter a room with 8 pressure pads - hack terminals to activate a pad at a time. Stand on one pad at a time when a central screen displays a symbol matching that of your pad. Stay on the pad to avoid the sequence being fully reset. Don't stand on the pad early, you'll be electrified. Lots of Nova and Vauban needed to make enemies stay still. Avoid killing enemies except when Trinity has done EV to gain energy, they will only become more powerful when they respawn. Once all pads are activated and someone is standing on each of them, the exit door will open. Watch out for rare mods dropping.

Stage 3 - Hijack - This is where Frost comes into play, bring a Frost with mega shields and spam snow globe. His job is to move the hijacked item along the rail whilst others stand on pressure pads to open each door and hack terminals. Lots of Nova and Vauban near the terminals and pads to stop enemies from attacking.

Stage - 4 - Similar to stage 1 but you must destroy rooms based on their colour and hack terminals and stand on pressure pads to open the room doors then run in with a bomb. Once done, Vek Hey is exposed and he's easy to take down with 8 players. More to come on this part, it was a blur.

Another take on it possibly easier to understand: https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/420982-how-to-complete-raid/?hl=raid

It was amazing fun but I could see 4 dMw people doing this so much easier than 8 strangers without voice comms.
