I thought that what was shown of the Hull series development was really interesting.  But my favourite bit (and highly recommended reading) started on p43 with 'The Economy Boardgame'.  If you have not read about it then it is very much worth doing so.  It sets out the initial mechanics considered for a lot of the PU processes and the way they were thinking about developing or changing them.   The boardgame rules will not be the PU rules, but it is a great insight into where they started and how they 'evolved' from there!
