The dMw Community Account now has a balance of £206.81 and $4.53

The $ funds are retained for the time being in dollars as there is a cost to convert to sterling.  Should there be an opportune moment to avoid charges it will be changed.

Without wanting to cost save too much, why are we renting Ventrilo? Surely someone could host that for free on the 8mg adsl's that are floating around?

I believe its restricted to 8 people. I think its cost more to buy the server software that lets you host more then that. I may be wrong though ;)

It's also something where we cannot provide teh support we need for dMr without DirectInput which is supported by Ventrillo, but not by TS, hence we are not using our TS server.
