Mind filling me in gents? I know it's a personal choice but given we are a team of admins and I'm  (albeit not a dictator) your leader I would like the pleasure of inclusion before we make decisions and such public announcement is made! Is this a mutiny?

To clarify the ambiguity of Sneaky's public thread post, "we" was defined as "we three playing on Friday evening" not "we" as in "all of dMw".

Sorry if anyone misinterpreted the gist of the conversation.

There wasn't any arbitrary decision made on behalf of dMw, Ranualf and myself were discussing what to do in game that evening and decided to try the merits of switching to Aisling Duval's power. Sneaky logged on after an hour and said hearing what we'd done said "sounds good" so joined the two of us. That was about it.

Since so few dMw's are currently playing - there are only around five regular players - it's not something we considered would impact anyone else.

Everyone else can continue from where they are, pledged to the Mahon power or not. Advice and support on TS are always on offer.

After the next major update, there may be the possibility of dMw becoming a faction in-game, which would definitely be something I would make a community decision.

In the meantime, see you in game. Fly safe!

Regards

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

There are a couple of things I would say about our responsibility as admins:

1) As a game admin, people will follow your lead whether you intend them to or not. So you should always make sure anything you want to propose (even in the loosest sense of the word) is done with the Game Leader and other Admins informed. There being so few people into the game right now is no reason to ignore this (BTW it's our responsibility to get people interested in the game we look after!).
2) The point of this forum section is to talk about these things and for me as Game Leader to listen and give feedback. I wasn't given the chance to give feedback in this case but it would have likely been in agreement with the idea. We've used this area rarely and should make it our place for discussions. All admins should read it regularly for new posts.
3) The community does NOT make decisions, the GL and Admins make them. Some decisions are bigger then the GL and Admins e.g. It's rather nice to have dMw possibly in the game as a faction but that is really something that should have been discussed here and with the dMw Council before requesting it with Frontier. I'm sure the Council members will correct me here if I'm wrong.

Hopefully we'll see an upturn in popularity as the game becomes more team based and then we'll have some decisions to make.

Cheers,

Greig

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.
