i am still new to counter strike as people who have played with me can tell lol but i got a few skins i love so far my fav are Dual Berettas | Urban Shock and Desert Eagle | Naga. the pistols look awesome in the blue and the desert eagle don't need a paint job just the sleek carvings that the naga provides makes it look amazing

Quote from: Dexterous;405866To be fair, the Elite Build is also a very nice skin. I'm surprised how cheap it is considering how good looking it is.

Yeah Elite Build is a nice piece of kit

Yeah, I like it. It must just be common, only reason for it's cheapness. Probably higher probability for it in cases, saturation of market means cheaper skins.

Does anyone here have any experience from buying skins from third party sites like OPSkins.com or similar? The prices there are a lot lower than buying them off the Steam market, but I don't know if it's a trustworthy source or not?

I've not used it but it's been around for quite a while now and not heard and horror stories about using it.

I'll be using Skinz.gg when it launches. My cousins new project, he's the CEO of Esportsify if any of you have heard of that. Should be trustworthy enough.

Quote from: Bellowhead;405846You lucky git, I'd love a knife! I saved up from selling shadow cases and managed to buy the cheapest stattrack AK on the market, Elite Build. It's now my most prized possession!

Ah, well that sounds good... Depends on the prices though. I signed up for the early access/newsletter. :) We'll see if I've managed to get a knife of some sort once they've opened, but I'll keep an eye out for the site.

@King: Thanks for the info. I guess it seems legit enough to try, but I'm still a bit put off by the amount of money they charge for a knife skin (although buying it off the Steam Market is even more expensive). :P

If you want a cheap alternative to spending large sums of money for knives I recommend attempting trading. If you can get the hang of it you can quite easily go from a low tier skin (below £4 or so) to a mid tier skin (below £25) within a month or two. Once you've done that, it's just one more step to getting a low tier knife and restarting the process.

I'll trade my scout for your knife Dex.

Yeah, I've seen some guides and stuff on trading, but feel like it's too much work. I'd rather just pay straight up since I don't really have the time to chase potential trading partners... :)

People are making these skins.

How?

what is the process?

I'd like a go.

I'd like to do some skins.

I've not got a clue how to make skins, I know there are lots of tutorials on it and presumably it would be very fun once you'd got the hang of it. If you makes some I'd love to see them.
