Warhammer 40k Enternal Crusade

Not sure how many of your know or like the warha,mere universe but thought I would mention this game I have been following for a while now, I think it has a lot of potential and if done right will be amazing. Wanted to know what you lot thought and also who enjoyed the warhammer universe ?

I started playing warhammer ( the models you painted ) at about age 7....

40k i started when i was about 9. Bought the box where you got marines and tyranids. I had several armies but my favourite were the tyranids followed by the eldar. Loved this back in the day but stopped playing around the age of 15 when I became more interested in girls lol.

Ive played a few 40k based comp games and none have really done it for me....This looks quite good though and will follow, thanks for the find

No problem, I collected space marines ( ultramarines) for about 3/4 years so nr aslong but I stopped in the end I enjoyed having them and still do have them I just don't use them so thought no point buying any more. I collected ten with my Friends one went for the imperial guards and another went for the tau we have some good battles with them three armies

The first box I got was battle of macreagge ( might be spelt wrong) that was ultramarines vs tyranids was a great box to start with and might be the one you started with aswell.

Yeah games looks good and they have done a lot of work on it hopefully the first shooter that lives up to the lore and awesomeness of 40k

Total war warhammer looks good but they are already on that dlc grind to take all our money

The box set i bought was just WH 40k almost 23 years ago! I loved the space marines and had a lovely terminator squad. Yet everyone and their mother played spacemarine (no offence) so thats why i branched out to other armies.

Love the lead figures! Still have a few....I used to go to 2 different games workshops to play against people i didnt know and learnt alot.

We had a gang of about 6 -7 of us and we used to have weekend long battles! It was epic....I still buy the odd figure now and then but they are all made from plastic ( well last time i checked). I prefer the lead one's lol.

Its a FPS which isnt high on my list but if they have some decent lore with it then count me in!

ah so that box was older them me lol so i have a small doubt we have the same one :flirty: my best model is a( i think its lead ) a chaplain that my best friend painted, he looks amazing and the best one i own. i love the scouts as well tho a simple marine who don't need no amazing Armour but still is needed in the marines ranks and uses shotguns and snipers. the terminators are amazing tho walking tanks nearly apart from the dreadnoughts of course lol which is nearly a walking tank. love the dawn of war series tho the first one not the second series of games not sure if you have played them or not ?

not played any of the new games.... i still buy white dwarf occasionally and it hurts my brain how complex and how much there is regards army wise....

ahh yes dreadnoughts! i have 1 stashed somewhere. loved it.... sadly with kids work and computer gaming i dont really have the time for it. as i say, i buy the occasional figure purely cos i think its cool....last 1 was a wyvern for warhammer.

you'll learn alot from these chaps here, its a weath of information in so many ways, not just gaming :dmw:

haha i always see it in the shops be always resist haha, i haven't even seen any of the new units that have been announced will have to see what they got now, i still got just the normal army( in my mind its the basic army ) but i do love the whole warhammer 40k universe and just wish they would do a game that did it some justice.

dawn of war inst new lol the first one is now 11 years old, its had four other games built on top of it in the series and each was amazing added new units and new armys to the fight, its started of with the basics armies, space marines, chaos, orks and eldar . the second gave us the imperial guards, third tau and necrons was introduced and the last gave us the dark eldar and the sisters of battle. They were amazing game and me and friend still play them today with new mod that adds so much more to it including titans. definitely have a look at it tho you might like it.

yeah i enjoy being in this group, there some great people here and your true about learning things for these guys other then gaming stuff, but am really enjoying being here
