Hey guys,

Want you to hear this song of my band.
It's called "dirk.". Dirk is a like a normal name like George in Belgium. The kind of name you would
an accountant.

check it out and feel free to comment!

It's not my style of music tbh, so I'll stick to more technical stuff.   I quite like the tune and can see where it was trying to head, but the lead vocal was flat at several points which really clashed.  It would otherwise have been a really nice chord with the backing.  For my personal taste, the top hat (only) is too far forward in the mix for my liking, and the bass guitar too far back and almost lost, assuming you have one in there, which would be a great excuse for me not really thinking it was loud enough! :roflmao:

Youtube sound quality aside, I actually surprised myself by enjoying the track.

7/10 from someone who does not normally listen to that style of music too much.

The recording is a bit rough I know. It was done in our rehearsal space. With 5 mics and voice overdubs afterwards but I'd take a 7/10 any day :D

It has an appeal for folks like me who are indie and alt guitar lovers. A bit of Blur and Biffy Clyro in there. I like the change of key to major at unexpected points and I prefer the vocals in the second song as there is more tune and less gruff.

I'd buy your album and stream it through Spotify when you get to the finish line. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Bert

The second track gets a big  from me.  The singing in the first wasn't to my taste.

I love it. take my money already

Would love to hear the first one professionally recorded, I actually like the vocals on that one. I can see what TL means regarding the high hat and base, that aside this does appeal to me.
