A few of you might of seen the csgo competition blunt is holding on the 28th of december and i simply want to make it more interesting for those who want a bit of a gamble. The idea is simple , you can put up one of your weapon skins for a chance that if you win then you can cash in on other people weapons skins. The rules are very simple as well, you can offer one weapon skin and depending on the rank of the skins determines what skin you can win, for example if i put up a blue weapon skin and win i can only get other peoples blue and white weapon skins but can't get purple skins that people have offered up or higher unless you do the same. The skins will be given to the winning team by those who have offered them up in this forum and then the team can decide who gets what skins. those who don't offer skins don't win skins as well so if you want to win then you need to offer something up. This is completely optional and is just for fun really.

For those who want to get involved in this then please state your interest and that you want to be involved and if your prepared then the weapon skin you're putting up for grabs and then we can see how many people want to get involved in this. If you have any questions please ask :)

How many skins are we betting? Four?:roflmao:
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Just wanna clear this up:
If I put in 1 red skin and no one else on my team put ANY skins in + the only other skins that EVERYONE else taking part had put in were blues and purples. If my team won would I be receiving all skins that had been bet?

If you bet a red then you can win other people's red and lower but if you Los and no one else put in a red ten you keep your own red. If you were the only one to gamble on the winning team then yeah you win them all

Then yeah, I'll probably chuck something in :D

I only got a few but not sure what to put in yet i want to put something in that's worth something at least lol. Great to have you involved tho Dex

Btw, could I make a suggestion for an amendment to the rules. Instead of the White, Blue, Purple, Red grouping we should do (with x representing the skin placed in the pot)
0.00  <  x  <  0.50  <  x<  Â£1  <  x  <  5  <  x

Because there are plenty of skins in the same category that go for lots and others that go for very little.
Example: Dual Berettas | Cobalt Quartz (Field-Tested) (Purple) goes for £0.17 whereas the AK-47 | First Class (Factory New) (Purple) goes for £15.18

Okay I am still new to csgo so not 100% on everything but that's a brilliant idea that way people know what they are betting , if we do this then people can place more bets to get up to a certain amount , like I got a few different pistol skins I could put up all these to a cost of 5 pounds and then I know I got a 5 pound bet on winning.

That seems unbalanced tbh. High risk is supposed to yield high reward but if there's only one red bet then it's completely risk free and purely a chance of benefiting.

That's why it would be based on the price. If people only bet 5p worth of skins they shouldn't get £10 back, that's why we have the price categories which we can work out later. However I do agree that there should be some risk so I think one thing might be that:
If 5 people on their team bet that they'd win and they each bet £2, and then one person bet around £10. The team as a whole would get that item if they won and then it could be split in between them by trading it/selling it to buy smaller items. In other words, if the collective bets of a team are within the price bracket of the skin bet by the other guy then that "other guy" would lose his skin to the entire team.

So your total bet would be £6.76
I don't think I'd be betting as I'm saving my skins for the giveaway I'm doing.
