For anyone wanting a competitive experience, Survival of the Fittest is an incredible conversion of Ark that basically makes the game like The Hunger Games, matches are about an hour long, usually involve up to 25 tribes of 4 people each, and really forces you to have your wits about you. All players spawn in the centre of the map just like Hunger Games, the middle is filled with loot at the start (and is usually a blood bath) and a dangerous grab if you're keen, otherwise you all run off in separate directions and equip yourselves in an accelerated levelling and gathering experience.

Once geared, the hunt is on, every player you murder has a gong sound the whole match and their face is displayed in the sky, until your tribe is all that's left.

The matches feature random events as well, from spawning poo-throwing monkey's that attack you, to gear drops, and even giant beams of light that reveal survivor locations.

It's an incredible amount of fun for the relatively short amount of time each match goes on. And it's becoming an incredibly popular competition. I competed in the Naughty vs Nice event over Christmas which was small compared to the previous competition, and it still had prizes up to $15000 for charity up for grabs. That event was unique in that it pitted 100 vs 100 instead of smaller tribes. It was crazy!

I'd love to hear from anyone keen to give the competitive side a bash, the most successful teams are those made of 4 constantly communicating with each other, not just random people, Galatoni can vouch for that!

Below is just a 2 minute overview of what's involved, the spectating tools available and just how much fun is involved, high tension high reward!
Love is the one thing that transcends time and space.

I had a go at this mode. I sucked, but it was a lot of fun :)
