With the brand new 100 km² South Pacific island Tanoa, a co-op campaign, and new vehicles, weapons, and characters at the heart of Arma 3 Apex, this upcoming expansion for Arma 3 aims to dig into the theme of near-future combat, expand the main game's line-up of more familiar / modern-day armaments, and introduce new vehicle classes, such as VTOL aircraft and Light Strike Vehicles.

Arma 3 Apex is scheduled for release in Q2 2016. People who pre-order Arma 3 Apex will be able to test some of the new content and features ahead of Apex' official release via Arma 3 Dev-Branch on Steam (exact dates and plans will be shared later on the Arma 3 Dev Hub).

Hell yeah this sounds awesome, I am definetly pre ordering this thanks toobad. Be Intrested to see more about the co op campaign tho, would love to see how many people it could support and if enough would love to play with some of you guys hopefully it should be a brilliant new mode. The map is going to be a big change and should be interesting and provide a different way to play Arma you have to take it slow in them trees because I bet the ai will see you first. Can't wait for more info on this tho thanks again :D

Looking forward to this! Not been to fond of the DLC's released for ARMA thus far, but this is a full expansion!
I only know my own ideas of other peoples ideas.

I am in :yahoo: looks great and it is a nice change of environment. One thing I am worried is how is the AI going to work in this dense jungle forest, they will see you through trees and vines and shoot you on sight surely?
