Thursday night is curry night right, I have a suggestion for this as last time it was a bit of a balls up. As you put everyone's name down on the board for who is going to this, would it be possible to say allocate each person going a number? Just number us all from 1-x. When at the curry place can we use this number for ordering food with the staff? So instead of them just asking for everyone's name just take our number and provide individual bills for each of us or something? I mean last time Penfold (I think it was him?) ended up paying a crap load out of his own pocket because the bill did not split equally on the tables.

Yup t'was I but it's fair to point out that we had a surfeit of donations towards the LAN Virgin's drinks so I understand Ninja/Toby asked the room if they could use the extra to reimburse me which they did...

Anyways, it was a complete bugger's muddle.

'Now who didn't have rice' ... remember that advert? lol.

I would say better to have a set cost per head beforehand.

Could even say 'if you have 1 drink you pay X much, if you have 2 drinks Y much, no drinks Z much, and so on... and thats only pints of beer allowed... anything else can wait until after in the hotel really...

And just have to charge slightly more than it will cost, and the extra money goes into the new LAN fund, or back to supporting the LAN etc...

I think we all would be OK with that, no?
