I'm thinking about how someone can collect together a selection of video clips and make it look like anything they want. They can tell any story, make any point and promote any agenda. It's very easy to have a belief and then go find the 'facts' to support it, carefully ignoring any other facts that don't fit with the original belief. Belief first facts later..... maybe.

The fact that 'Politically Correct' is a self proclaimed right wing group with a clear anti immigration agenda sort of suggests they're not going to create anything that is remotely balanced or objective.

And I'm sure a person or group who was a huge supporter of immigration and the free flow of people across the world could go and make an equally compelling video showing how marvelous and humanitarian it is to allow refugees to enter Europe. They'd show clips of the horrific abuses innocent people are suffering in Syria and Afghanistan, of families terrified fleeing the death and destruction in the hope that they might find kind, decent people in Europe who might help them and their families etc etc and we'd all feel moved to help and assist. And it would be no more real or valid than the video in the OP.

Anyone can tell any story they want. The only thing I am sure of is never to believe anything I see on the Internet.

Sure, I agree. I am not saying this is the only side of the story and that this video rules them all. Just think its good to think about it from the other side as well and that not all stuff gets enough attention. I can't vouch for the whole footage but there are definitelly things that are valid and scary and I think they are overlooked in the whole immigration story.

Agreed and it does work as a wake up to people like me who have been a bit yawn about immigration. I live in London and so have grown up in a multicultural environment and so am probably less bothered about living alongside people from other cultures than most. And that's probably made me more likely to think 'Immigration? So what. It's fine' than I really should.

The video is quite powerful and has guilted me into taking more interest in the subject.

Immigration depends highly on the people which are immigrating to your country.

Logic dictates that an immigrant should adapt to your country, and accept the fact that they need to integrate into the hosting country's' society.

Unfortunately, the reality of it all is quite the opposite.  Our country is quite literally fed up with all of them, apart from a very vocal minority of do gooders who want to show off; it's mostly christians and political people.  The reason why practically no one wants them,  is that these immigrants mostly from the African continent, come to your country illegally and expect you, the host, to adapt to their culture and society.

They also destroy/burn the place you house them in, throw away the food you feed them (3 free meals per day), and constantly want more.  They also commit endless crimes, rape your women, and harass/beat up the local population.
They also don't pay any tax for the work they manage to do for contractors, so you see them walking around in stuff the average worker cannot afford.

Multiculturalism? It does not work.  The stuff in that video, that's the result of multiculturalism, and honestly, it's quite true as I have seen it with my own eyes. To add more to it, my cousin is a soldier, and he used to guard the place these ingrates are housed.  The stories I heard from him are unbelievable.

In short, these immigrants are not civilised.  They still act like rabid cavemen, so treat them as such.  I remember once, a bloody african immigrant walks into a shop, and proceeds to take a dump inside the shop.  These is the kind of people who want our help after screwing up their own continent.

LOL.. What you believe everything that is on the tele? Wake up ffs. This is real. This is the Islam plan. Hopefully the UK will see sense and get out of the EU and control their own immigration.

I couldn't agree with you more. You can't expect this culture to integrate with ours. It is not possible. These people aren't refugees. Look at the videos: young men of fighting age; military haircuts; mobile phones; new clothes. Honestly wake up.

Germany is screwed and now they will be outnumbered. Their culture (which I really like) will be taken over by Islam. I really hope it doesn't happen in the UK.

It's a very sensitive topic I agree. I personally think that breaking the law at any time should not be tolerated. If I break the law in Netherlands (serious not a parking ticket), I will be deported back to the UK. If I claim money without working, trying to find work or simply dossing, I get deported. If I try, be a good citizen, use my lousy Dutch skills, I get treated like one of their own.

Is this immigration or asylum? I agree with helping genuinely desperate people. Are the ones actually causing the trouble in their home countries using asylum to spread their hate? It's a tough debate. Not going away any time soon.

Quote from: Ninja_Freak;411134LOL.. What you believe everything that is on the tele?

:-) Absolutely not. TV and print news can be just as bad. What I'm not going to do is watch a video with zero credentials and and just use it to reinforce a belief I may already hold. Anyone can post stuff on YouTube, I just don't use it as my primary news source. That video is powerful and thought provoking but might be a terribly biased portrayal of what's going on. Who made it? What is their agenda? Was all the footage shot in EU countries or were we sometimes watching people fleeing Rwanda in 1994? How old is the footage, recent or years old. I have no idea so I'm not using this film to form an opinion. Bad information in equals bad viewpoint out.

If I grab my white hood and pitchfork as I already believe immigration is a bad thing and most immigrants are bad people then I'd most likely love this video as it just confirms the view I already hold. If I'm some slack jawed liberal who's all huggy and kissy with immigration then I'd hate it and consider it a piece of right wing racist propaganda.

I'm neither and so the video doesn't influence my view at all, as it's clearly an opinion piece and not an unbiased look at migration into the EU. Interesting but ultimately it tells me nothing.
