I need to ask you Brits for some advice. We are five guys that want to have a weekend (Thursday-Sunday) in London, watching a game of football and thinking about visiting a brewery or something like that. Problem is, we have no idea where we can turn to have that last part organized. Any of you guys have a couple of suggestions for us? :)

Our plans are to have this done before the end of this CL season, preferable watching Stokes (which is my dads club for some obscure reason). It doesn't have to be down town London, but we plan on not being able to drive much, so tube/train would be our primary means of transportation.

Any suggestions are greatly accepted :)

Well, to get you started, this is my favourite London brewery and they do an excellent tour: https://www.meantimebrewing.com/

I saw this one, and I am glad you mentioned it. It is probably something we will be doing.

Hehe, thanks suicidal, but that is a bit hard core for this I think. One of the "boys" are my father, and the rest my brother and brother-in-lawseses (not entirely sure about the plural of that word...) so it more really meant as a memorable trip to London for the five of us. I know for a fact, that two of the aforementioned "boys" would not get that far on such a crawl. But if there are any pubs worth visiting, by all means send me suggestions, they will be greatly received!

My dad has a long standing with stokes, so hopefully we will find a match with them in London in the near future as well.

Further on, I was thinking about suggesting one of the BrewDog bars, does anyone have any experience with any of those?

Right, we found a match that fit the bill perfectly, which is Arsenal v Norwich City on March 30th, but how on earth do I get to buy a ticket to one of those matches. I do apologize for my seemingly stupid question, but it doesn't look like there is a "Buy tickets" button for anyone not already a member?

The BrewDog bar in Shoreditch is excellent, complete with secret doors :)

Get the tube/train to Liverpool Street, then walk North-East to Brick Lane (where you can have an excellent curry) via the old Spitalfields Market. Go North up Brick Lane until you hit Bethnal Green Road - you should find the BrewDog bar on your left.

It just so happens to be in the middle of the trendy, vibrant part of the east end - you'll find hipsters, vinyl stores and amazing street food in that area.

Brick lane is a bit of an institution if you like your curries, and brewdog is just round the corner. Seems like win-win to me. Some brick lane venues run a BYOB policy, so you could even take some brewdog beers with you, although they also offer discounts with their local off licenses. If you'd prefer not having curry there's a fun place I like called MEATMission not too far from brewdog, nearer to Old Street (15min walk). Book tables in brewdog if you can. Brick lane has many options :D
