I bought a Mandolin second hand off eBay! I always fancied trying out this instrument.
I hope it arrives in one piece.

Anyone else playing this or banjo and have any tips on learning? I was reading up on something call "Devils Tuning" which looked interesting.

I really like country and bluegrass music but also folk music and it's really a big thing these days. I will try and find some drinking buddies needing a rubbish Mandolin player and populate some Irish pubs in Haarlem. :D Nothing random about my master plan! :norty:

Fisk86 plays, or at least has, a banjo. I strongly suspect it was an impulse buy just to **** people off, but hey... Isn't that the very point of an absurd instrument?
