I have the H100i, can't really give too much detail compared to other solutions since I have never used any it's for sure quiet and keeps my i7 4790K at super low temp whilst overclocking to 4500MHz (normally 3.5GHz base/3.9GHz Turbo). I've used the 80i in a previous build, they are simple to install and maintain.

I think the i5 is a better value CPU http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i7-6700K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-6600K (good to see the 4790K still holds its own). I would go i5 and invest in the fastest RAM the extra cash frees up can help you buy, or put it towards a better motherboard. I found that mainly buying better RAM initially saves you down the line as it will need upgraded later if at all. SSD's will always come down in price as will graphics cards. The most future proof motherboard you can afford whilst choosing only the features you will actually use is another bit of advice from someone who has wasted cash on overspec mobos in the past.

Id probably agree with Albert here, for gaming go for the i5, if you run a lot of VM or video stuff the i7 could be the choice

Good advice.

The H100 is probably overkill unless you want to do some big overclocking, so you could save yourself some cash there.
