Ark on Oculus Rift

I saw this announcement about support coming soon, and then they are focusing on getting it across on VIVE as well, I can't wait to try it...
That fishing mini game in Vive would probs be the best thing ever...

I was trying it in previous releases but it needed the old runtime from Oculus as Ark hadn't been updated to v1.3. Then they removed the ability to select VR mode and that was that. If you're saying it was added in a recent patch then I'll try it for definite? (where did you see this written, I searched and found nothing recent). Previous people who tried it in VR mode say it was mind blowing, as even small dinos are big scary beasts. I would expect it to be more a viewing gallery rather than for extended play as VR needs decent optimization which Ark is not.

Yeah was thinking of getting a oculus rift but not till there's more games to warrant the price,I hear Bethesda are working on a fallout vr game.
