Bowling & Laser booked (I paid a £25 deposit) for

Fri 7th October, 12.00pm - 3.00pm

Play 2 Day, The Old Station Yard, Gull Road Guyhirn, Wisbech PE13 4AA

Need to work out schedule for eg 2 bowling games and 2 laser etc, plus food & bar logistics for them, drivers for us.

they have 8 lanes, we have 7 booked
bowling 10 mins per game per person (max 8 per lane)
laser 15 mins per game (max 22 - 11v11)

This is now posted.  

The expectation is that everyone goes and we're in the hole for a minimum of 50 @ £12.50 per head, so let's promote the **** out of it and make sure we get the numbers there.   But £12.50 for the food, one game of bowling and two games of laser tag is pretty damn good value, especially when we have all the lanes booked just for us!

Note the volunteer driver bit please if you are feeling generous!

Did a chase up by PM to everyone for the Bowling and Laser Quasar.

As this is an opt-out activity (the announcement said we're ALL going) then I've given fair warning, a deadline to opt-out and forewarning that the £12.50 will be added to their LAN bill.  Hopefully nobody will get ****ed off by this, but it makes it far simpler for us.

Dear LAN attendee (and if applicable, your partner attending with you)

On the Friday of the LAN at 12.00pm we've booked out the whole bowling alley and laser quasar venue and done a deal where for a minimum of 50 people and £12.50 per head we get:

1 game of ten pin bowling
2 games of laser quasar
Burger with fries (or a big foot hot dog with fries).

dMw have to pay £625 to the venue one week in advance, so it is essential that we get as many people there as possible from those at the LAN.   If everyone who is there during the day on Friday comes along we'll have 54 people, which is a slim margin over our minimum of 50.  

Any shortfall will have to be met by dMw.

For ease of administration we've added everyone's bowling fees to your LAN bill which you can settle upon arrival.  

If you are not planning to participate in this event then please let me know no later than Friday 23rd September.  After this date the booking needs to be confirmed and fees will become due.  And I'll need some time to organise the teams and competition structure!

We hope this is ok and that these arrangements don't upset anyone, but that's why we're giving everyone plenty of notice.
