After a little bit of mining out in the asteroids Sith was blown out of the sky whilst on his return home. I Popped over to see if we could find his ship and discovered it still hovering between a rock and a hard place.

Went to Siths and he bolted a pillion seat to my ship and we went over, took a few rocket hits so dived behind a ridge. We managed to sneak around the fire to a crater and his backpack, the former being what was left of his ship.

Sith ordered up a replacement and half an hour later he was bolting rocket launchers to his new SV. Then he went all Rambo on the Epsilon centre and I just turned up to see the aftermath and collect some seeds.

Is this the same guy who managed to land that wrecked transit van of a ship from last night? Honestly, I've not laughed to hard at a game in a very long time.

For me when I lost the ability to  breath due to laughing was when he managed to get this thing in the air.  Then to fly straight rotated so the nose was had the booster and shot off in to the distance backwards.  Amazing giggling now about it.

It was like watching a crash in reverse, it slowly wobbled and fell over, then rocked back and forth, rolling over onto it's roof before blasting up into the air backwards in a sort of ballistic parabola over the mountains.

Hi all!
I'm a fan of Empyrion, with quite a few hours of solo play. I thought it would be cool to try my luck on-line joining other explorers, who had the misfortune to crash on the same planet. Looking at various servers I found yours. It seems that you started just couple days ago. I'm a relaxed player, interested in exploration and building. I do not like fighting with other players, but can join a PvE raid if needed. I play every day or two.

So, can I join? If that is so, what's the password?

Cheers,
thomson

Hello and and welcome Thomson.

Normally our server passwords etc are here: http://www.deadmen.co.uk/forum/forumdisplay.php?60-Game-Server-amp-Teamspeak-Details-and-Passwords

however I see that hasn't quite been updated. I'm sure one of our fellow crashees will be along shortly to help. :-)

I hopped onto TS and asked the crew currently playing

Go to the server search bar and look for deadmenwalking all one word.

It may be an idea to join TS.

Good luck :)

Hi Thomson

Welcome to dMw :byebye:

Our hosted server literally went up this evening. We're running this server for the community to explore the teamwork elements of Empyrion to eventually decide on whether or not to make it one of our officially supported games. If you've read any of the posts here detailing our ethos then you'd be aware that we value teamwork much, much more than solo play.

So far ... all looks good.

I'll be adding the server details to the post Pen linked to sometime tomorrow. The server can be found in the server browser as Dead Men Walking (no idea who Pen asked about this but they gave him bum info :D ).

Look forward to seeing you on the server. Do join TS as well, though, as it makes it much easier to help each other ... and it's a good laugh too.
