Over the last two weeks we've been posting up the nine sponsored real ales or real ciders which will appear at the LAN for your enjoyment at a scrumptious £1.50 per pint.  This is the final post in the series.

REAL ALE #9

Cwtch by Tiny Rebel

Sponsored by: The Oliver Cromwell Hotel
This is a special thank you to dMw members from the Oliver Cromwell Hotel.   We're celebrating multiple milestones/anniversaries at this LAN, not least of which is Dead Men Walking's 20th birthday (my goodness where did the time go!), but it is also:

- the 25th LAN party held at the Oliver Cromwell

Thank you the Oliver Cromwell Hotel for sponsoring two of our nine sponsored barrels!

Cwtch is a Welsh Red Ale 4.6% ABV and it's also a cracking Welsh word to try to pronounce (it rhymes with butch).   It can mean either cuddle or cubbyhole. This untraditional Welsh red ale is a blend of six caramelly malts and three citrussy american hops.  The colour and sweet toffee aroma comes from the caramelly malts, the citrus, tropical fruits, pine, and mango zing comes from the american hops.  A moderate bitterness finishes off this very easy drinking and balanced beer.

Tiny Rebel's Cwtch is a brilliant pint - not only did it win the Gold Medal in CAMRA's Best Bitter category last year, but it was also announced as CAMRA's Champion Beer of Britain 2015.

From the LAN Admins:

We hope you like the selection of real ales and real ciders we have selected for you to enjoy at this year's LAN.  We hope they allow you to celebrate dMw's 20th birthday in style and we thank all of our sponsors for delivering a £1.50 pint to our members.

We look forward to seeing you all at the Oliver Cromwell Hotel in March, in October!:dmw:
