GL meeting at the LAN

As per normal, we intend to hold a GL meeting at the LAN.

Please can you post your agenda items below if there's anything in particular you want to discuss.

Not sure when we'll hold it given the Social on Friday but we'll work it out.

Elite Dangerous - Should it stay a supported game?

Background: We only have about 5 players online normally, with a group of about 10-12 as regular players. (40 at it's peak early doors). It's not eating up server space nor is it a problem for me to continue helping new players. But it's not attracting many new players. The future holds lots of interesting improvements to multiplay in the game. I'm keen to keep perceiving with it as are my Admins (Arithon and Sneaky). Is it worth it for dMw? Pros: it's a game that attracts new dMw gamers, we have several who joined the community this year who saw we play Elite as well as other games. It will take some real good improvements to get players back into the game. I'm optimistic.

I would like to discuss Overwatch, but that is more to get any ideas / tips you guys have for keeping the ball rolling within the community, and any ideas how to overcome the main obstacles in its way.

Other than that yes, a discussion of survival games would be good.

Gutted about the drop of interest re: GTA, but nothing to be done. Would like to discuss if its worth me being involved with anything else. May as well make use of me.

What hit home with that list is how low player count so many of our games are.

CS:GO, WoW, Racing are the only 3 that have perked interest for the long term. Others come and go. 50% of them run on the dMw server. With so many of the big titles being cloud based only servers I can see independent non-AAA titles being appealing for a community like ours as we get some control over our multiplayer experience. Ark is a great example. 5 of our games are played by under 10 people regularly.

Of course i'm thinking about Arma but this can apply to all.

Player conduct, how to enforce, what sanctions to apply and when to apply them.

Criteria for dropping supported games.  Is dropping supported games which do not cost dMw a penny a good idea?  Potential future members will not go looking into the archived games section before they decide to join.
What is going to happen to the other games once SC is released
Recent cheating by a long time member.  How to be proactive about this.  Do new members bother reading rules and guidelines?  Consolidate the amount of standards into a single post, which is visible in each section as the first stickied post, instead of having them all secluded in their own section.
Instilling a sense of community in the new members
