Hopefully my mission will be fixed for Sunday night providing me and TwoBad can find whats causing the issues with the units. If not, how does a race mess around map sound to people?

I'm going to try and get the mods installed and running. But I won't be able to afford Apex until after payday - which is a few weeks away.

Likewise I don't think I'll have Apex just yet but as soon as it's bought and installed I'll start to get along on Sundays. Cheers.

Guys, please don't feel you are excluded just because you don't have Apex yet.  We are still playing NEW missions on the original maps and you are more than welcome to join us.  And don't forget you don't need any mod or dlc to get in game and throw yourself in front of the enemy!!

Eugh. I'm not happy with my load out. I think i'd appreciate a little time to try and get some ideas of what does/doesn't work with regards to equipment/appearance. Was going for a straight-forward force recon type kit if I wasn't going to be doing the engineer-y type role. The damn DLC "buy it now" stuff keeps getting in the way.

Might need someone to hold my hand through the kit to try and do some planning. Just need a (non-DLC for now) rifle along the lines of a M4A1. Something that fires semi and I can put reasonable optics on. I don't know how many quiet ops you do, but the less fiddling with layouts the better for me as I can take ages to pick them.

That said, is there a gap in the team for a particular role?

Okay this is a list for those who don't own any DLC and this is all the weapons in the base game for you to use with the DLC promotions popping up

Assault rifles ( best used in close to medium range and will be the main used weapons ) :
MX
MX3GL
MXC
Katiba
Katiba carbine

DMR designated marksman rifles ( these are guns best used from medium and Long range, powerful rifles if you can hit the target with them, these are normally slow shooting and are best used at range):

Sniper rifles ( long range rifles that we don't use much due to how a sniper normally works but these are the guns for those people who like the long range powerful one shot rifles ) :
M320 lRR
GM6 Lynx

Light machine guns ( squad automatic weapons)( this is the gun that will fire 100 bullets down range in a few seconds and can really mow down squads of enemies if used well. This gun is best for making the enemy's keep there down under suppression )

MX SW
Zafir

Sub machine guns ( close range weapons that would only be used for close quarters engaments)
PDW2000
Sting
Vermin

Pistols ( secondary gun used for close quarters and if you run out of ammo )

This are all the guns you can use without having any DLC, there are nearly twice the amount of these guns that come with DLC but most these guns are great so hope this helps you all out
