Active Sky 2016 - Gilbraltar to Munich in a PMDG 777-300

I picked up Active Sky 2016 today in the sales as it has 1/3rd off the usual price.   Installation was easy and I love the combination of real time weather plus the Rex HD Clouds now, so I took a quick flight from Gibraltar to Munich and watched the clouds and weather (and the turbulence) en route.    Storms peaks, different types of cloud, lightning in the distance (under the cumulus stacks) are all visible and much more dramatic and realistic than you get in the standard settings.  It also allows the WXR (weather) setting to work, so you get to see the weather ahead (and the storm stacks) overlaid against your planned route within your set display range on your PFD.

Active Sky 2016 - very highly recommended. :thumbsup:
