Anyone else getting increasingly interested in this release?  

X-Plane wins on the 64 bit front (other flight sims are 32 bit), and this new version which is due for release imminently is looking the absolute muts nuts even before any addons.  It even seems like there are some convertors out there to help you move some addons over to X-Plane from P3D or FSX.

I already installed it, and I have high hopes for it. But I will wait some time before switching. I also have hopes for Dovetail games.
Not sure who will win this 64bit battle.

At the moment there is no 64 battle.   Nothing else (of importance) is 64-bit afaiaa?  FLight School doesn't count as it is not a 'proper' sim.    What they really need is a 64-bit port of FSX so that hundreds of pounds of addons to get thrown in the can.

One of the interesting things about XP11 is that I am hearing that there are tools which allow the use of some FSX sceneries/planes in XP11, which might be a bonus if it actually works.

Out of Beta now, and released on Steam.

Btw I have been toying with the beta and generating photo Sceneries (Ortho4XP). Very impressive, but due to bad data it tend to generate bad tiles sometimes. So that is still to much work to get going but I have hopes. It looks like this ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KT3a6HZFa1Y

This looks very well made. I'd be interested to understand how well the multi-player works and if it's something we could promote as a team game in dMw.

Yep, bought it and giving it a short play tonight.  Will certainly be exploring it as I am plagued with VAS CTDs in FSX:SE.
