Jewelz mentioned this last night. They're trying to fix the hook of wonder. Good news if you ask me (and anyone that doesn't main roadhog!)

This is live now along with DVa and Ana 'nerfs'*. It undoubtedly has a large impact on the meta.

Heh actually a very good point tbh, as this update does a lot to make many more heroes viable again, and removes the go to triple tank meta.. a game environment where every hero works and there is no 'pick this set up or lose' is really what we all want!

I agree totally with this video. Nice one, Chaos... Roadhog now is a really solid pick if you're able to hit the hooks well and can really turn a fight if you're able to snatch the enemy healer or a key dps.
I also agree with what they're saying at the end of the video - that he's become a bit more of a skill-based hero than playing like "throw-the-hook-anywhere-and-get-a-kill". In my opinion I think he's well balanced now, as he does a good amount of damage, but needs to reload after 4 shots. He has a lot of health and a self-heal, but if he misses a hook he's very vulnerable and has pretty much no mobility at all and is a huge target for anyone to shoot at.

I am considering Roadhog my main hero since a couple of weeks back and I really enjoy playing him!

Really? I have never heard of this thing. What is this nerf you mention? Wow, that's a significant change! Ok, maybe it's not the end of the world. Maybe it just means that Rabble can finally stop complaining about Roadhog and the insta-hook-insta-kill-easy-mode that he thinks he is. We'll see, but I think that with this nerf and the buff of Bastion, the meta will change quite a bit. Maybe rise of Bastion will also lead to an increase in Genji play for deflecting?
