Morning All,

Just recently joined DMW, played a bit of overwatch which I enjoy, but my real passion is driving, I use PC with Thrustmaster wheel and racing seat, also just got oculas rift which makes Project cars pretty awesome, just wondering what games everyone plays and to introduce myself really hopefully get to know some of yas and get some help getting some competitive gaming :)

thanks

:)

Hey mate,

Welcome to DMW, we used to mainly race on LFS but sadly the interest for LFS has declined and it's pretty much not used anymore although you can catch some of us on there now and then. Most race on AC (thread for DMW races here. I do race on both PCars and AC but on PS4 not PC, one day I shall get round to getting a new PC and hopefully join the action on here again.

Edit - if you've not tried LFS it is worth downloading the free demo, not only are the physics superb but it has brilliant VR support for your rift.

Hi ya Malcovich.  Assetto is my main focus at the moment.  Not sure how it compares to other titles for oculus, we do have at least one other racer who uses it with Assetto (as Gav says, LFS demo is worth a look just to have something else to try in VR.  The developer for LFS takes forever to add any content to LFS, but when he does it usually is the best example of it :) ).

Hopefully you can join us for some racing some time!

Hiya Malcovich welcome aboard. I can vouch for Oculus in AC its good enough that I only drive with Oculus, if you want it to work in the menus then you have to use a vr desktop. Big screen works pretty well and its free.

Note to the other guys not been on lately what with xmas and a failed celload forcing me to use the clutch as a brake which is not ideal by a long shot even with abs forced on for all cars. Should be getting a new celload next week but Im working evenings.
