That's much nicer quality of life wise. I just tend to wait out the nights crafting. As a result they're not really hard, just dull.. 10 mins is much better

I think we need to have a vote on where we're going to re-establish our base if anywhere.

Some have said the South near the Green Beacon, others Hidden Valley. I'll try to get some options together and then vox pop it.

Here are some ideas. Will post more as I find them.

You may recognise the trench. There is a decent amount of aesthetically pleasing flat ground around the trench, close to water, and importantly close to the Volcano (the best source of metal). May be a bit dangerous, but probably better than where we are now!

Flat area near the green tower. Again may still be dangerous. This one I am not sure where the metal is. Looks good though, and a good amount of flat space for us to build around together.

The smithy doesn't work for me guys. I can't craft anything there.. and yes I have moved the correct resources over.

For example, I am trying to craft a lumber door, and in my inventory it says I can, but clicking does nothing (as it says 'Can be crafted at: Smithy'). What I can't do is work out how to even do it AT the smithy... no engrams show up in its menus!

Edit - I found the problem. You MUST unlock the smithy engram BEFORE you unlock any engrams that need to be crafted on it. Potentially quite a large bug.

Issue now is I have the engram for lumbar doors, but I can't craft any

I can't imagine the trench is any safer than where we are now, I consistently had predators falling onto my base from the trees above...

The green tower sports some amazing rock work, but I've got no clue what resources are like out there at all, but thats a cool couple suggestions dude..

The spot near red tower you linked after I think only has metal inside the swamp cave, unless there's been an update to the nodes in the area, I know beaver dams occur in the lake there, so thats cement etc...

It's tough though, too close to red and the world is a little stale, I'd say the top of one of the mountains that have more greenery than the volcano is maybe a good idea, always resource rich, and just a case of getting used to slaughtering countless eagles...

What do others think?

I haven't played alot but I'm willing to help where needed. Is there still the option of one of the admins ingame getting me in the clan? Last few times I was on, no admins were on.
BTW, Monday I tried to move towards you guys, had a pack off 10 Dilo's but didn't get far. Overrun by Carno's and Theri's on the way over.
Then tryed over 20 minutes getting my pack back but no luck. Maybe better for me first to try and trap a wolf or something so have a decent transport.

The lumber door is fubared. Everything else is working. We're using reinforced wooden doors

I also agree The trench won't gain us anything.

Whitey and I had a look at hidden valley but I think we may get the same problems with stuff falling down on us.

It looks like the majority are staying where they are but Oldie and Sulky have moved to the mountain at 75,47.

The addition of bears have made the original spot a lot safer but you're welcome at both I'm sure.

Not sure where Milli is now?

Got my lvl 138 bear slaughtered by a Scissor hands cos I was caught off guard this morning, knocked me out then shredded the bear

So it's still a rough world out there my dudes!

Ouch sorry bro.

I seem to have caught a disease in-game which is only curable by getting leech blood. I've been fantastically unsuccessful in getting that so any help greatly appreciated.
