I can't see the icons on my Hud that tell me about my health / food / thirst / stamina status. Is this intentional? Not so much of an issue now, but could become one as imo the on screen warnings for low stamina, health.. they're not great. Could lead to a lot of dead mounts.

i have all the icons, there is a key for enabling/disabling as i did this before, but i cant remember it right now sorry....

edit: Try backspace

Yup - backspace..... I do it all the time.

Chaosphere

Weird, it's not that - backspace hides the entire Hud.. I have half of mine! (And have tried it, doesn't fix the problem)

But if others have the icons the issue is my end so I will look into my game settings :)

Well I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion that where we ended up is just unsustainable.

It's too dangerous and the Theri's are spawning in great numbers very frequently.

So....... I'm considering moving and would be happy to help anyone interested in setting up.

I think off to the South towards the Green Tower (near where Oldie etc and I were last time). It's safer and altogether more pleasant.

There's also nice areas of flat land for building. It's also near the water.

I appreciate that lots of us have invested time in the area but it's really only going to affect  myself and Whitey to the most extend. Sithy and his boat can travel round and others such a Gortex, Sneaky, Sulky, OB and milli have minimal build stuff.

You can load up the boats with all your stuff or just fast travel.

Thoughts?

sulky_uk

sounds like a plan to me

Indeedy.

It's just too high risk with no birds.

Totally my fault and I apologise but I'm not sure how we can continue there. The bases have been trounced once again pretty much and at least now it wouldn't take too long to rebuild.

Like I said the boats can navigate to the sea. It's challenging but does work so we can load up.

Whitey's my biggest concern due to the house. I'm even tempted to offer up replacement resources if that is what's needed.

Anyway, no immediate decision. It's meant to be fun but I'm not sure how much fun the current locale is providing.

Whitey

Would we be better to concentrate on building a wall around the existing village for protection?   I'm happy to move but concerned we could end up in the same situation again.

Penfold

I wondered that but we could end up being trapped behind the walls if we're not careful.

The South is a lot safer.

Is anyone around tonight. I'll try to get on an perhaps we can TS.

Chaosphere

I'm up for that. I got ravaged by 2 alpha raptors last night over and over... hard times.

Oldie,

A few people have asked if you can make the night times a little shorter. That's fine with me so if you're able to adjust that would be great.

Thanks.

Milli

Personally I've been thinking about moving somewhere a little safer anyways as at moment progress is being hampered by the fear of coming face to face with a therizi and getting my face ripped off.....then throw in the raptors wandering about and the mention of a spino nearby the other day and at level 20 (ish) not ready for that yet ðŸ˜,.  But quite happy to go with the flow..... nights being a little shorter would be great though.

I've made it ...

Total length of day = 60 minutes
Day length = 50 minutes
Night length = 10 minutes
