Nice piccies and yes that scenery is good!

I took a dawn flight this morning from LOWG and decided to head to East Midlands airport instead, EGNX.  The weird part was that I spent all day yesterday at Silverstone, so I must have taken an overnight back to LOWG to be ready for this morning's flight!

LOWG N0409A080 GRZ2Y GRZ J21 KFT/N0492F380 DCT ERKIR UL608 TEDGO UZ210
LAMGO UM150 KRH UZ210 LIRSU DCT BUB UL608 DENUT UL610 HEMEL UT420 WELIN
PIGO1J EGNX

Dawn flight from LOWG 35C, heading to East Midlands Airport.

Climbing out of LOWG, flying over Graz, Austria.

The sun is catching us up!

Inbound to ENGX, FL380 over the Thames Estuary.

Short final into East Midlands, runway 27.

F1 cargo delivered in time for the Silverstone Grand Prix qualifying, albeit a little late for P1 and P2!

Well, the next flight is from your UK airport, across the channel and to Hungary for the Grand Prix at the Hungaroring circuit.

Closest airport is Budapest Ferenc Liszt International Airport (LHBP), but you could also fly to Vienna or Bratislava as they are only a couple of hours away from Budapest.

Wheels must be down before the race starts on 30th July!    Chocks away folks!

My route:
EGNX runway 09
N0492F370 DTY4P DTY UM605 BENSU UQ70 BIG UL9 KONAN UL607 MATUG DCT
NONKO UL607 RIDSU UZ738 RIDAR/N0489F390 DCT BIBAG UL605 ESEGA DCT
SASAL DCT VEBOS VEBO2J
LHBP runway 13R

This is a nice 2 hour flight, with some nice scenery on the way as you edge over the mountains and descend into a picturesque Hungary.

I did the trip to Silverstone in FSX as a reminder of what it looked like and I am so glad to eb back in P3D v4, it looks stunning in comparison in my personal opinion.

Wheels up from East Midlands airport!

Gear up and stowed, flaps up a notch and heading for 39,000ft final cruising altitude.

Thames estuary to the left and the English Channel ahead.

No this next picture is NOT over-exposed, it's lightning from the thunderstorm that we're flying over, the flash lit up both the sky and the ground too!

Turning onto base leg for final approach, Budapest is ahead.

Descending on the glideslope over Budapest.

Flaps 30, Gear down and stable on final approach for runway 13R.

Parked up at LHBP Budapest.  Now to get some rest before the Grand Prix!

dont know how i missed the tread , some great screenies there TL, and the default scenery is looking so much better in P3d. i did attempt this flight in xplane 11..twice and got a bird-strike on take off from Heathrow and crashed, and then the game crashed on the 2nd attempt. So back to olde faithful fsx

i would post pictures up but it seems steam wont let me link so if anyone can help let me know by doing an idiots guide........

Upload them to your steam library, then go look at the picture in the library, right click it and take the second link option.   Then just paste it as normal in IMG tags.

Scenery is looking good, that's default P3D (with quite a lot of lower settings to boost my FPS to playable levels as my 770 SLI doesn't really work in P3D), along with Orbx, ActiveSky and will soon also be joined by Rex (updates for P3D v4 due soon).

Hungary looks nice in orbx

nice approach to the airport

bang on the centreline

time to get the goodies off

I always had few problems with FSXSE.

So when you close down FSXSE at the end of the session, does Steam pop up the screenshot library and give you a chance to upload any screenshots you took during the session?

I just tried it with one of Paddy's from his Steam account (for some reason I could not find your steam account).    The first step is the critical one.

Went to his screenshots, clicked on one of the screenshots so it opens up on its own in a solo window with the comments box to the right. (if you go to screenshots and just rightclick on a picture without having clicking on the picture to open it in its own window then you do not get a working link).
Right clicked on the picture, selected 'Copy Link Address'
Came back to this forum and pasted the link into {IMG} {/IMG} tags, replacing {} with []
The link I got worked, so I can link the below picture of his crashed Chinook, which also means that there is no need for a paternity test, these landing skills prove that he is indeed your son! :roflmao:

If you try to get a link without opening the screenshot up into a solo window then you get a link that will not load the image properly and will be much shorter than the one linking this image.

Hopefully this will resolve your problem.

I wanted to get this flight done so that I can start my F1 summer holiday!

Climbing out of Budapest.

On the SID and climbing to FL360

Nice and hazy at the top of the descent down into Belgium.

On this approach we're descending over Maastricht.

Touchdown, the crowd goes wild!

Full service please!   Parked up at EBLG and 30 minutes from Spa-Francochamps.

Happy F1 summer holidays!
