Anyone else been watching this game? I signed up for the closed alpha and it seems I've been accepted.

I know almost nothing about it except that it's made by the same folk who did Warframe, so it might be worth a go. They emailed me to say:

"You're in! Now you can help your friends get access to the Closed Alpha! Get four or more friends to sign up using the link below to have them added to the Closed Alpha Priority List."

So if anyone fancies a look, here's the 'priority' referral: https://www.playkeystone.com?referrerId=5942a6db4cde6f86cf01d4e7

I tried it last weekend. I play Warframe and thought it might be fun.

It was fun, but seriously an Overwatch challenger in 3rd person mode. Try and let me know what you think.

I will rephrase that.... It is trying to be an Overwatch challenger. It has a few differences, 3rd person for example and different team based games. It also has a thing where over time in a match you unlock special skills which you can activate by hitting a key and you get buffed. For example, the shotgun dude has a shot pistol. He captures a point, he gets an upgrade to a auto shotgun, then a longer range buff, then a missile launcher, then moves faster etc. It has this feeling of gathering momentum. I suppose like the ultimate Q thing in Overwatch. The drops you can apply whenever you like, they are not auto applied so if you like a particular gun or want to save the launcher for the end of the game you can.

I don't see it bringing anything more to the table right now but the thing that will differentiate it from Overwatch is you collect skill cards that persist between games and you will be able to combine them to create unique combinations applicable to a certain character to more suit your play style. Sort of like Warframe does today with mods.
