I have just paid my supporting members fee. Please count me in for the LAN. I have booked the time off and will travel up with Jewelz^

Just so you know for future reference, supporting member is not a requirement to come to the LAN - but it does save you some £.

Supporting members may book a LAN spot 1 week early.
LAN cost for supporting member is £10. For non supporting it is £25 which gives you a year of supporting member.

If you consider that the year membership when given alone costs £12, by attending a LAN you are £3 better off (10+12 instead of the 25). Think of it like a free beer at the LAN if you do it this way around

So really the only differences are early booking and a free beer on us Supporting members keep the lights on, so it is always great to support regardless of LAN activity, and support is always appreciated!

Thank you. Going to call the hotel now. I have just bought Battlefield: Bad Company 2 in the steam sales and will keep an eye out for Overwatch to drop in price.

Cool, do keep in mind that all tournaments / scheduled events are entirely optional. If a game isn't your thing, or you don't fancy putting the cash down to just have a go, don't worry! There are always other things going on (beer beer beer), other games you can jump into. By all means join in with whatever you want, but don't feel you HAVE to, is what I am saying

A member has informed me the hotel has no more free twin rooms.

This means for anyone yet to book you either have to book a room with a double bed, or post up looking for someone to share with just in case anyone has a free bed in a twin.

I've booked a twin, got a spare bed but same as Galatoni, I snore as heck. Unless he doesn't mind bunking up in my twin.
