Raiding

With the expansion coming in on the 5th Dec comes a new raid, I am hoping to do some more organised raiding within dMw.

First of all we need an expression of interest from member that would like to raid and then we need to decide on a night which would best suit us for raiding.

Please pick from days in the survey which days you CAN raid. Please be aware we don't want to step on toes of other games so if you know you play the dMw Overwatch night on a Wednesday and dMw CS:GO on a Monday, please don't pick these nights.

The winner of the survey will obviously be the day we pick for raiding

Grats on game leader / supported game status. I would love to raid regularly as it is a good laugh.

I don't think a lot of the people in the D2 clan are even on the forums to vote. Activity is down a bit probably due to content drought, but i'd also wager a bunch of those people don't even check the Discord channel. Depending on activity post DLC, might need to look into a recruitment drive.

Seems that Monday is popular but it is also going to be awkward due to a new change coming from tomorrow 05/12/17: Remaining raid keys will be wiped from the inventory on weekly reset.

Raiding on Monday and having a long raid or finishing late, means people won't get a chance to log in the next day and use their keys (unless they do so before 5pm UK time).

Depends on the start finish times that are being planned, Monday I am committed to other things till usually 21:00-21:30. If you are planning a 19:30 or 20:00 start with a solid 3-4 hours (in the early runs) learning it then I can do other days just not Monday. Also there were a lot of takers for the early runs doing 1-2 bosses/events in early on, perhaps having some other groups and running alts depending on makeup for starters. Bungie haven't helped by not dropping Raid loot from the chests, tokens is a joke, resetting tokens just makes it worse for casuals.

Sorry you said keys resetting not tokens, so I can still save up the tokens to get the loot if I ever complete the Raid. Just less opportunity to get into a Raid instance as I won't have my old key.

No mate, raid keys are for the raid chests only. Lockout etc is not affected and gets reset weekly anyway.
That's also another thing with Mondays, of fire some reason we don't finish the raid, we'd have to start fresh the next day.

I finished the raid with 5 randomns in 1.5 his and that was even with some mistakes along the way. People just need to know the tactics and give it their all to get it done. Ofc with the new lair, it will be another good hour or so ontop.

Don't think we can count on ALTs as we are struggling with numbers as it is... Other peeps have gone off to do their own runs so I just use LFG if I want to raid.

LFG is always an option for raiding. Maybe the Thursday would be better for arranging a group, gives people the weekend to LFG if they wish to fully clear should the dmw group not accomplish this.
