Hi folks, it's reaching the time of year when a lot of our supporting member subscriptions renew and I though it worth reminding everyone of the process to avoid possible double payments:

  • When your Supporting Member period expires you get a PM from the forum advising you of this and directing you to the renewal page.
  • If you use Paypal then BEFORE setting up and paying a renewal, please check whether or not it has auto-renewed.   (for example I got a renewal notice PM this morning but I have already auto-renewed in Paypal)
  • The renewal process in the forum software automatically fires out a PM when your Supporting Member period expired, but it does not check to see if you have already paid again via an auto-renewal payment set up at Paypal, so check your Paypal first if you are not sure which you have.
  • Auto-renewals and manual payments will correctly set up a new  year's Supporting membership, so you'll get the correct credit for your contribution to the community.

Hope this helps and thank you for your ongoing support for this community.
