This has been reduced to £10 on Steam with a free weekend. I am going to see if works on my PC. Is it worth it? people still play?

TheDvEight

it's a very good game run by some very good game leaders, we normally play on sundays with a map made by someone in dMw.

It's definitely worth the money, even if you just play the single player. There's normally at least 4 of us on every Sunday and we play missions made by myself, TwoBad and other members of dMw. They gameplay varies every time due to different leaders taking us different routes so no two fights are the same. Try it on your PC and play on Sunday night while the free weekend is still on to see if you enjoy it.

it would be really great if you could get more people into it, give it a try over the weekend for free.

Chaosphere

Definitely worth playing for £10.
All our Gods have abandoned us.

The beauty of this game is the base game is good and fun but there are so many mods for this you can cater it for the game you kinda want it to be. I like all the military sim things about it but some times its nice to load into a king of the hill game and test you skill against another 100 players on here like in a battlefield game mode. so for £10 so worth it, i got 500 hours in it and still finding new mods to play on here and play most every sunday

TwoBad

If you're gonna get it then yes, the extra £4 for Apex is well worth it. However, if you didn't have it you can still come on and play, we just wouldn't load up a Tanoa map (part of Apex) and you wouldn't be able to use any of the kit it these DLC but you can still play missions with us which have this kit in.

Not included in the bundle is the latest DLC which includes Tanks, Jets, Laws of War and Tac-Ops.  Again, you can still play on our server with out this DLC you just won't be able to interact with any of the kit in this DLC.

I picked up the $20 Humble Bundle. Quite liked Arma 2 which I had on DVD and A3 looks very good for a 5 year old game. Will try to join in on Sunday.
Cheers, Bert

TwoBad

I'll be on holiday for the next couple of Sundays but Puff will be on setting up games
