Mr & Mrs Sith Boxing for Charity!

Hey everyone!

You read that right! Katie and I are signed up and training for 8 weeks to fight in a white collar boxing match being held here at the Baths Hall Fight Night on 8th September 2018.
There are tickets available from us, they are £20 for the normie seats and if there is enough interest for a table it'd be £350 for 10 seats at a table with waitress all night, these are going REALLY fast though! We would LOVE anyone and everyone to come and cheer for us, but if you can't make it or you're simply too far away, please consider donating! We have a couple ideas to make the fund-raising a little more interesting, like auctioning our Fighting Names to the highest donor!

ALSO We both have 3 spaces on our vests available each for sponsorships so if anyone's company would like to do that it would require a minimum of £50 for a slot, obviously this comes with photos of us in the gear pointing at the logo etc I mean come on, who could resist??? We'd love to sport Dead Men Walking on the vests :norty: Tealeaf *cough*

It's a lucky escape for me, we get paired with a "fair" partner for the actual fight night, but who knows what could happen at the lan right? :norty:

I'll be posting updates here as we go along, basically, we get trained for 8 weeks starting Monday, for a white collar boxing event held here in our town, the whole thing is in aid of Cancer Research UK. We get trained to "fighting fit" level from what they tell us so that should be really fun anyway!
Katie and I are both auctioning off our fight names, so if you'd like to donate on the JustGiving page we linked be sure to leave a comment with your donation that specifies which names you're sponsoring, obviously highest donation wins and will literally be used on the night when announcing us in.

My dearest faust, for the highest donation, the sky's the limit for how ridiculous I am likely to be lol, though I doubt the organisers of the event will yell something to profane haha

We've been practising our hand-wraps and started (light) sparring today with a shield pad thing we bought, and trying out our boxing gloves obviously. I made Katie cry :crying: #feelsbad but overall it was awesome, ready for our second session of proper training tonight!

But seriously, Katie and I are doing ace, we're super fit, quite abused, I'm quite nervous personally, since the room is full of 6foot+ bruisers ready to smack me. Toughest choice I've got to make this weekend before monday is what should my WALKOUT music be???
It'd be great to see some suggestions from you all, we get between 30secs - a minute so gimme what you got!

I had no idea there was so much involved in boxing, for reals. I was firmly someone who thought it was two dudes just bashing eachother till someone falls over like those old Rock-emSock-em Robot things. Learning the techniques involved and understanding just how much of it is a mental battle as well as a fitness battle is just immense. I am loving it.

Get those suggestions linked here I want to look good and sound good on the night dudes/dudettes!
