Seems there is a bug causing problems when you beat the final boss. In short, backup your save file, or you might end up with a corrupted character you can't play any longer.

Also. if you are getting lack of session connections at login or regular disconnects with teh 5038 error, add this to your launch options under properties in steam:

[FONT=&]-nofriendsui -udpforce

Apparently the new friends UI has all sorts of issues with games and all this on and off friends crap and disconnects is not MHWs fault. UDP just works better than tcp for the 2nd setting.[/FONT]
