LAN XXXIV - Games List

Below is a list of RECOMMENDED games. These are titles that you may want to have installed on your machine before the LAN, so that IF we play them as a group you aren't left out waiting on an install.

I will disconnect your PC from the network and publically SHAME you if you try to download an 80gb game over the weekend :roflmao: !

Not all of these games are GUARANTEED to be played (apart from the tournaments), so don't rush out and buy a copy unless you're sure you actually want the game.

Team Fortress 2 (FREE)
Left 4 Dead 2
Unreal Tournament (FREE)
Counter Strike: Global Offensive


Chivalry: Medieval Warfare is ESSENTIAL if you're playing in the Deadathlon!!! Hopefully you all have this by now, as it was recently on sale for £2.50. There MAY still be a copy or two floating around if you ask real nice in the Deadathlon thread, but if they're gone, they're gone.

And to point out that Humble Monthly Subscribers recently received a copy of Overwatch in their subs. If you are looking to join in this game check out the games keys going for free forum post. I'm sure a few other's who also subscribe may have keys to donate.

I've got a second Overwatch account that someone could borrow if needed for a tournament or such.

We should have enough between us then to cover a few extras.

Added PUBG to the list.

With recent talk of the potential for custom games we will likely be giving PUBG a good test run, either on the Friday or the Saturday (or both).

Although this isn't going to be ran as an organised tournament, we will push it when we see a good opening in the schedule and try to get as many in the room playing it at the same time as a LAN 'proof of concept'.

If it runs without any major issues, and if interest remains high, we will likely see it as a more organised tournament event at future LANs. :thumb:

@ Simagule, as above mate.

If you're not sure about it I'd wait and see how it goes at the LAN. If you like what you see, you can maybe pick it up for next time, as it's likely to come back as a competition (or at least an event) if popular.
