Have they made the combat harder? I've been trying a straight forward collect the black boxes mission at Guest City but the 3 ships that warp in take my shields down in seconds and I have to run or die.
I'm only in my Cobra but it is fairly well tricked out.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Might be you're taking a multiplayer mission. Icon on the missions is little blue triangle thingy.
