I watched the video and I think I can already play almost all the games via Steam and Epic for £0.00 per month. Apart from Sea of Thieves what's the point of paying a subscription? Serious question and not a cheap dig at Microsoft, am I missing something?

simple question smilo do you pay more than £120 a year for your games on steam? with game pass all you pay is the subscription, i have game pass ultimate which includes(xbox gamepass, xbox live gold and xbox gamepass for pc) for £10.99 a month, i basically don't need to buy another game.
if its on game pass i can play it, and they will add more and more games to it.

It's only worthwhile if there are enough games that you actually want to play included with the subscription, otherwise you might as well get the games individually which has the added benefit of actual long-term ownership.

Personally, I'm not sure I do spend £120 on games anymore, tending to get things when they're on sale instead.

It is just a matter of what works for you.

I like when they offer me £1 for 3 month's to play any game, which I cancel the subscription of so that they beg to have me back for another £1, meaning I enjoy an entire games library for months at a time for an absolute fraction of the cost... Yessss.... :devil:
