So this thread is to help me out and to get an idea of what people want from the world i am trying to make, this could be as simple as "i want fun with friends" to something like "I want to become king, i want to run a whole empire". So simply what do you as players want to do next ? what setting would you like? What style do you want ? Do you want a lot of fighting or less fighting? Want this to be based around a town or a whole world/continent ? Want this to be like a survival game ? Or are you after a something that's very much basic and stands well with the core of what D&D is ?

People don't have to answer here if they don't want to you can always Pm me but if you can tell me what you are after then it will give me a better idea on making the world that people want to play in, right now i have the very basics of my world being built. I don't want to continue building if people don't want the world that i have in mind, that way people then might not enjoy playing in it as much. Or we go the way which is going against the advise of other Dms and i build the world i have been making and then tell you about it and see if people are interested in it and want to play in it. Any input at all is greatly appreciated, I cant build the worlds that everyone wants but i can build parts all of peoples ideas into it ....Hopefully.

Thanks,
Rogue

Variation is always good. While admittedly it's always nice smash your foes underneath your fine shiny weapons. For me, alternatives are nice. Being able to take a step back and lie in wait while the Rogue manages to open a sealed door by sneaking into a fort and unbolting it from the inside. That kind of thing. Travelling through different terrains/climates is good too as you get to take a look at the exhaustion system. Court intrigue is fun, and isn't always as dull as you'd expect given the right balance. Supporting a nobles claim to the throne, that can go in all kinds of directions!

The trick is trying to balance everyone's expectations. Kudos for asking btw. You're really doing an excellent job.
