Does anyone own either the Noble Chairs Hero or Secretlab Titan gaming chairs or do you have something similar you would recommend?

I've been having upper back problems for a few months and am looking for a chair with lumber adjustment (not an add on pillow) and more importantly something that gives good support to the upper back.  I've read a lot of online reviews and watched a number of videos but I'd rather hear from people who actually bought the chair as opposed to people who are gifted them for review.

I've not used either chair but have had back issues over the last few years. I've been advised by my Orthopedist and physiotherapist .... actually more instructed... to never buy a chair that I'm planning to spend serious time in without trying it out in person. Not sure if that helps but I was seriously aggravating my back by using a chair that wasn't right for me and had no idea at the time. I couldn't stretch to a new chair but was able to use several addon lumbar supports until I found one that did the job. It was a bit trial and error though.

I imagine it's going to be near impossible to find a bricks and mortar store that sells Noble or Secretlab chairs though.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

Herman Miller Embody, and Steelcase Gesture.
If going for these chairs, make sure you try them so you can arrange your posture and see which one is better.  They are quite expensive, but your health is worth the money.

I have tried the Gesture, and its like sitting on a cloud.  The plan is to buy a set of them, but currently out of budget

This is what I have at the office.

Can highly recommend them. As Toby says 2nd hand are more reasonable than the £1000 they cost, I bought mine for £250.

You do need to try it though to get the right size.

As an owner of a "gaming chair" as nice as it is, I don't think I'd go for one again, as the others have recommended try & find yourself a good office chair from somewhere.

Spoke to a friend of mine who has used Noble gaming chairs for years. His current chair does have lumbar support but he says it's not adjustable i.e. it's an accessory not built into the chair back. It is about three years old, so it's probably not the same exact one you linked to. He had a disc removed years ago and so has to be very careful about his back. He absolutely raves about  Noble chairs though, apparently they give him zero back issues. He even said he sometimes just goes and sits in it when his back is aching, just to get some relief.

Thanks for all the feedback so far.  The Herman Miller chairs look good but i need to have a head rest on it and couldn't find anything in the range with one.
