amd 6900xt

as i title says that's the flagship card from amd costing around £999 comparable to a 3090 but, been looking at the reviews and its not so good for amd in actual fact a 3080 beats it in some tests.

I'm not convinced by the value in either the 3090 or the 6900XT at the moment.   I think for the money, the 3080 or the 6800XT are better choices.  If you think ray tracing and DLSS support will increase in games or you play at higher resolution than 1440 then you'll lean more towards the 3080 I would guess.  The 6900XT itself is fine, but the drivers suck donkey balls at the moment from what I have read - and that has been one of the concerns with AMD - will their drivers be up to the job?   Watch the below for more comment on the weird driver behaviour being seen, which also makes the current performance tables unreliable.
