Basically L4D but with a new skin (made by the same guys n girls, more or less).

Had a bash tonight. Seems alright, but it really is just L4D with a reskin. I guess that is good or bad, depending on your stance on L4D.

Don't think I'd buy it, but its fun enough for short bursts of lazy PvE FPSing.

Oh also concerned there looks to be fairly significant pay to win stuff involved.. but that's hardly surprising these days...

I tried is briefly with public players and was quite impressed with how smooth it ran and it definately looked great.

I'd be up for getting a team of 4 to really try it this evening if anyone is interested?

Spot on. Ok it's the same dev team that did L4D2 but surely they could have been a bit more imaginative. There's precious little character and story in either game but I did prefer playing as an everyman in L4D2 rather than the professionals in this version. Really only worth a punt if you get it through Game Pass. Absolutely not worth sixty quid

Hello all! It's been a very long time but I am getting interested again in team/co-op gaming and I wondered if anyone in Dead Men is interested in the forthcoming BACK 4 BLOOD?

I remember that several DmW guys used to be L4D fans so let me know if there is any interest about B4B (the open BETA is starting soon)...

A few of us played it. But I'm not sure what the interest will be overall?

It is going to be free with the Xbox PC game pass, which many of us have for other things - so I imagine it will get some play time at release as a result of that. I do wonder about its re-playability, but only time will tell on that front.

Either way I would suggest to keep posting up, particularly when it does go into open beta and then eventually release, and of course keep your eye on the discord. It should be easy enough to find a group to play with - as I say, post up here when you're due to play and no doubt some will join you on discord for a go.

P.s. I'm going to merge this into the game's other thread, just to keep the discussion together - easier to spot interested members, then.

Hope this doesn't count as necroposting - but just wondering if anyone is still playing Back 4 Blood?

We've been playing but we are getting to that stage where we need a full team of reliable players to start taking on the higher levels. 'Pubs' ain't cutting it (mostly because they won't communicate). So if anyone is still playing pleaselet meknow.
